Charlotte, NC I-77 Mobility Partners is Looking for Maintenance Technician

What you bring to the table: You have worked hard to achieve success in your career, now put it to use.

 Do you have a Class “A” or “B” Commercials Driver’s License (CDL) OR the ability to obtain a CDL within 180 days of employment? 

Do you have 1 to 3 years of prior roadway maintenance experience or college equivalent and 1+ years’ experience in facilities, roadway, and bridge or grounds maintenance?

-Self-motivated and able to motivate subordinates

 -Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

 -General knowledge of all roadway maintenance operations.

 -Previous experience operating tools, equipment and vehicles properly and safely are necessary. 

-Previous experience with construction vehicles. 

-Previous experience with heavy equipment operation and repair.

 -Ability to perform equipment maintenance, facility maintenance and coordination.

 -Valid Driver’s License. 

-OSHA 10 Hour, CPR and First Aid training. 

-Working knowledge of automotive mechanics and possesses the ability to perform basic automotive service on the side of highway (change tire, jump start, add gas, etc.). 

-Experience to operate tow equipment is preferred.

 -Effectively manage tasks to meet deadlines. 

-Must be able to multitask and problem solve within a fast-paced environment. -Self-motivated and able to motivate others. 

-Work well as a team or as an individual. -Good communication skills. 

-Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and other PC-based software. Capable of learning and use other PC-based software and Apps. 

-Willingness to take delegation of job tasks from supervisor. 

-Clean and neat appearance
